Iran, Iraq discuss ways to strengthen energy partnership

Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Iraq’s Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadel discuss enhancing the energy partnership between Iran and Iraq.

Tehran, Karafarinane Eghtesad – Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Iraq’s Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadel met on Wednesday to discuss improving cooperation in energy sectors including oil, gas, petrochemicals, and electricity.

During their meeting in Tehran, both ministers highlighted the strong historical, cultural, religious, and political connections between Iran and Iraq and emphasized the importance of enhancing their energy partnership.

Additionally, they explored opportunities for collaboration in various energy fields, including oil, gas, petrochemicals, and electricity.
