Major General Rahim Safavi was speaking in the city of Arak, the capital of Marzaki Province, central Iran, during a ceremony on the services rendered under what is known in Iran as Jihadi management which calls for outmost efforts to resolve people’s problems across the country.

He said that the US considered the world as a village which should be governed under American culture and principles.

But, he added, the strategy that the US is the only superpower in the globe has now been defeated and the world is moving towards polarization of power.

He said that a clear example of the defeat of the US hegemony is the ongoing war in Ukraine.

There, Russia launched its special military operation on February 24 in response to the failure by the US-led NATO military alliance to stop posing security threats to Russian borders.
