Iran, Russia ink preliminary MoU for joint production of ship

Tehran, Karafarinane Eghtesad – Iran and Russia reached a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint production of ships to start traffic at the North-South Corridor and have transport in the Caspian Sea.

During the visit of Deputy Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Alireza Peyman-Pak to St. Petersburg, Russia, the two sides reached an understanding for the joint production of ships between Iran and a Russian company.

The signed preliminary MoU starts the joint cooperation between the two countries to establish the North-South Corridor and to produce ships plus transport in the Caspian Sea.
