"Bubble" receives 3 awards in GIMFA Int'l Festival

Rasht, Karafarinane Eghtesad – Iranian short film "Bubble" by Hamed Arib won three awards from the jury in the Gralha International Monthly Film Awards in Brazil.

The GIMFA (Gralha International Monthly Film Awards) is a monthly film award that aims to promote the best of world cinema, the films are watched internally by qualified judges from the cinematographic environment.

 The short film "Bubble" directed by Hamed Arib won the award for the best documentary, the best documentary director and the best documentary film editing in this international film festival as the representative of Iran.

The closing ceremony of the festival was held online on April 5, 2022.

The bubble short film, produced by Hamed Arib narrates the story of a man who left his country and said goodbye, and now in exile, the mother does not answer to him.

The "Bubble" is the narrative of the bewilderment of man who experiences in exile, the narrative of predestination and exile and tries to find a way to continue living, but emigration and the sorrow of exile are destructive and life In suspension.

The short film "Bubble" directed by Hamed Arib has already won the Best Film, Best Director and Screenplay Award at the FFTG 2020 New York Film Festival, the Best Documentary Short Film at the 2021 Berlin Indie Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the 2021 Jaipur Aryan Children's Film Festival in India.

This short film won Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Editing at the Brazilian Independent Film Festival and several other awards at international film festivals.
